Turner Auditorium turns into Neverland in the Theatre TCC! production of Peter and the Starcatcher, a play by Rick Elice based on the novel by Dave Barry, adapted by James Magruder and Ridley Pearson. The production is directed by Andrew Barclay.
The Tony-winning play is an action-packed prequel to the beloved Peter Pan, telling the story of how a miserable orphan boy becomes the legendary Peter Pan. From marauding pirates and jungle tyrants to unwilling comrades and unlikely heroes, Peter and the Starcatcher playfully explores the depths of greed and despair…and the bonds of friendship, duty, and love.
Cast members include Nathaniel Heffelfinger (Boy), Amanda Holton (Molly), Nathan Williamson (Black Stache), Richard Egues (Smee), Aenon Tsahakis (Prentiss), Emma Wasserman (Teddy), Cat Ostrowski (Mrs. Bumbrake/Teacher), Sean Macdonald (Lord Leonard Aster), Dominic Vargas (Captain Slank), Jack Jammer (Alf), James Haskett (Fighting Prawn/Mack), Dianna Baxter (Hawking Clam/Grempkin), Tabor Buckland (Sanchez), and Christopher Balkanski (Captain Robert Falcon Scott).
Through the ongoing work of the TCC Foundation and generous corporate and private support, Theatre TCC! provides nearly twenty students with annual scholarships that allow them to explore their artistic dreams.
